The opportunity card according to Section 20a of the German Residence Act (AufenthG) allows international skilled workers to enter Germany to look for work. It is aimed at applicants from third countries who either possess a vocational or university degree recognized in Germany or who achieve at least six points in the points system. WISA Recruiting supports skilled workers and employers throughout the entire application process, from providing proof of qualifications to successful job placement in Germany.

Formal qualification
They meet the requirements if:
You have a foreign professional or academic qualification that is fully recognized in Germany.
orYou obtained your university or professional degree in Germany.
If you cannot provide full recognition of your qualifications, the opportunity card is available via the points system. For this, you must:
achieve at least 6 points in the points system
Additionally, the following formal requirements must be met:
Completed state-recognized vocational training in the country of origin
Training duration: at least 2 years
Proof of the assessment of the financial statements by the
Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB)
